Get In touch
Start by reaching out to us via phone or email. We'll promptly get back to you to discuss your needs.
Initial Discussion
We'll have an initial phone conversation to understand your situation and determine how we can assist. Please note that we do not provide specific legal advice at this stage.
Follow Up
After our initial chat, if it seems like a consultation would be beneficial, we’ll outline the process, provide you with tailored advice, and discuss available options along with an estimated cost.
Engaging Us
If you decide to move forward, we'll send a retainer agreement outlining our terms. Once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid, we’ll begin working on your case right away.
There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution.
Whether you are contemplating re-partnering, having a child, ending your relationship, whatever it is you are dealing with, we are here to help you navigate through this transition.
Family Law is all we do. We have the experience and expertise to help you create your unique Family Law Solution.
Retainer Fee
Full Representation
A payment in advance or a “retainer” is requested when you hire us to provide you with services. Lawyers provide ongoing services at an hourly rate and bill for disbursements such as court fees, process server fees, courier costs etc.
If the matter costs less than the retainer the balance is returned. If it costs more the client is required to replenish the retainer.
After our initial consultation we provide you with a copy of our Retainer agreement that details the billing terms including our hourly rate.
Flat Fee
Unbundled Services
Many, if not most legal matters are unpredictable and vary widely in costs. Drafting documents for court can for the most part be predictable.
At the initial consultation we provide you with a checklist of documents we require to assist you with this process. We also set out a time line. We recognize your need for cost certainty and are willing to work within your budget.
A higher level of cooperation is required from the client for this to be a mutually workable arrangement. Payment has to be rendered in full before we commence work.
We now accept legal aid.
