Elisha J. Lazaros is an experienced law clerk with eight years of experience in family law and more than a decade of experience in estates law. She has worked in both large and boutique law firms, developing extensive knowledge of family litigation, domestic contracts, estate administration, and estate litigation.
In her family law work, Elisha assists with complex financial disclosure and the preparation of Financial Statements and Net Family Property Statements. She has experience addressing self-employment and corporate income, pensions, contingent tax liabilities, capital gains, child and spousal support, section 7 expenses, support arrears, and post-separation accounting.
Elisha also assists with the preparation of court materials, including Applications, Answers, Conference Briefs, motions, affidavits, Offers to Settle, Minutes of Settlement and draft Orders. Her experience includes managing disclosure, monitoring court deadlines, preparing support calculations and helping lawyers organize files for questioning and trial. She has also worked extensively on Separation Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Marriage Contracts, and uncontested divorces.
Elisha completed the Law Clerk Program at Centennial College and studied Social Sciences and Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Friendly, energetic and highly organized, she brings careful attention to detail and a practical, consistent approach to supporting clients and their legal team.
