Nandishi Bekah is the Associate Principal and Managing Lawyer (Toronto) at Ontario Family Law Solutions. A dedicated and compassionate family law advocate, she focuses on resolving disputes through strategic negotiation and practical, client-centred solutions while seeking to preserve family relationships wherever possible. Nandishi is a seasoned litigator with experience in complex family law issues, with a particular focus on high-conflict parenting issues and domestic violence.
Nandishi has represented clients at every level of court in Ontario. She holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, with a particular specialization in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She has appeared on CTV National and Global News and NBC for various commentaries on legal issues. She regularly contributes to SiriusXM Radio, Law360, and the Toronto Law Journal. Nandishi was nominated as one of Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in both 2023 and 2024. She has also developed professional training programs intended to advance legal practice and help lawyers provide socially informed, client-centred representation.
Nandishi is actively involved in the legal profession and broader community, including through the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto, Toronto Lawyers Association, Peel Law Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts-Ontario, CAMH and The Hospital for Sick Children. Recently, Nandishi authored her first children’s book, aptly named I Used to Have One but Now I Have Two, which is a book focused on Divorce from a child’s viewpoint. Her commitment to fostering conversations around important family law issues mirrors her values, work ethics, and commitment to her practice.
She speaks English, French, Creole and Hindi and can provide legal services in both English and French.
